Kings Captain out for a while?

Kings club captain, Adam Haywood, has just announced the disappointing news that he will be out of action for between 6 weeks and 3 months.

After careful consideration with Bedford hospital medical staff it was felt that at best Kings may have to live without the onfield support of their skipper until the middle of October depending on how well Adam's ankle responds to physio as he seeks to recover from the ankle ligaments injury which he got whilst hiking.

Its a disappointing start to the season particularly on the back of the home defeat to Blue Chip and will mean that Allen Sacbuker, Mike Milner and Phil Hatton will need to maintain their fitness, form and availability to cover for the absence of Haywood.

You may well see Haywood down at Clapham however as it is possible that he may step in as a reserve referee if needed.
