MAN OF THE MATCH JEFF DYER

Kings AFC made it 6 wins on the bounce with a comfortable win against one of the leagues bottom clubs Lidlington Sports Reserves.

Jeff Dyer got his first goal for the club from a brave header off a Sacbuker corner. It left Kings 1-0 up at half time when really their possession would have suggested a far superior advantage – but it didn’t take long for them to really make their ability advantage to tell in the second half as the forward pairing for Morgan and Josh Clements both added to their season’s tally.

There were also first goals of the season for Manager Minty, and the central midfield pairing of Sacbuker and Wilson along with a second goal for centre back Dyer before the scoring was concluded with the goal of the day from recently crowned player of the month Scott Barber who came out of goal for the last 25 minutes of the game.

It was a comfortable victory which will help the King’s goal difference as they prepare to clash with some of the league’s top teams over the coming weeks.
