A quality veteran that controls the midfield. Can play a simple ball and make the opposition look like muppets, although he is injury prone with a broken nose suffered whilst playing against an under 11 team in pre season

Age: 22
Position: Right Wing/Left Wing

Very skilful player who can glide past players with ease. Worked hard on his defensive side which can only be a positive for the team.

Ben Leggott

Age:21
Position: Striker

Dominant forward, who is new to the side will be looking for games and goals are the season get underway.

Chris Beard

Right Back/Centre Back

Chris has come to a surprise to everyone, he got his chance through other players absence and hasn’t looked back since. Strong in the air and very aware of surrounding. Improves game by game and always consistent.

Chris Greene

Age: 22
Position: Utility Player

Adapt at playing anywhere in the team, can defend, attack, head and tackle and was up there for player of the season last year.

Chris Stelling

Age: 26
Position: Defensive Midfielder/Centre Back, Right back

Solid player who is composed on the ball and can pick out a pass short or long. Member of the Kings AFC board and contributes effectively on and off the pitch.

Dan Footer

Age: 20
Position: Right back/Centre Back

An impressive pre season has seen Footlong strengthen his place in the team. Has a long throw to help out in attack too.

Danny Cain

Centre Back/Sweeper

Very vocal, strong in the tackle and very determined individual. Hate’s losing and is very versatile when it comes to defending. Came back to the kings set up after a spell a Wootton blue cross & Kempston rovers, and is now helping improve playing staff with a coaching role with the club.

Dean Dummett

Centre Midfield

A very driven midfielder who always tries to get forward. Very determined. Strong and has very good stamina. Had spell at Kempston roves and was captain of there under 18’s. Looking to get involved as much as possible, but struggles due to work commitments.

David Sansom

Age: 32
Position: Goalkeeper/Centre back

An undervalued member of the squad who plays when he can. Easily at home between the sticks or at the heart of defence, with Kings playing better when he is in the team

Giuseppe Lamberti

Centre back/Midfield

Flamboyant centre back who just loves to get forward at every attempt and has a very good partnership with Cain and Watts when going forward, who just fills in his space.  Always shows confidence in his football which in turns helps others in the team.

John Watts

Position Centre Mid/ Centre Back

The former Wotton blue cross and Bedford united player is A typical hard nut, loves the tackle and brings grit and determination to the kings side, plus very vocal. Does the dirty work in midfield to a high standard. Former wootton blue cross and Bedford united player.

Josh Clements

Age: 22
Position: Striker/Right Wing/Right Back.

Versatile player who has been given the captaincy for the forthcoming season. Leads from the front with strength and power and scores his fair share of goals.

Lee Gregory

Age: 17
Position: Right Wing/Left Wing

Youth player joined this season. Starred in some quality pre season games and can see Lee pushing hard for a place on one of the flanks this season.

Lee Morgan

Age: 31
Position: Striker/Attacking Midfielder

Another veteran who has good vision and creates a number of chances for the team even with his lack of pace.

Luke Clements

Full Back/Centre Midfield

Very strong and driven player, very good in the air despite not being the tallest player in the squad. When he plays you can always call upon him to be solid, and always willing to take advise from any team member without question.

Marcus Tomlin

Winger/Full Back/Centre Midfield

A very adaptable player loves to play and always puts 100% in, strong in the air, good feet and very aware of team-mates when finding a pass. Made a U-turn after leaving the kings set up in the summer but with encouragement from others saw him return to the squad.

Mark Loosemore

Age: 24
Position: Left Back

Awesome player who gives his all every game. Can bring the ball forward and if he does lose the ball is an example to all on never say die attitude.

Michael Craddock

Age: 22
Position: Goalkeeper

Indifferent season last year, Craddock as started pre season in fine form picking up 2 MOM awards and looks a commanding figure in his area.

Michael Whelan

Winger

Plays when he cans due to his work, but when he plays bring very quick pace and also width to the kings squad.

Nathan Clements

Centre Forward

When he plays goals are guaranteed got a brilliant touch and an outstanding goal record. He brings confidence to everyone when his name is called on the team sheet.

Oliver Plested

Age: 21
Position: Left Wing/Right Wing/Attacking Midfield.

Player of the season last year with an awesome touch and skill who scores and creates numerous chances for his team mates.

Richard Smith

Centre Back

Strong centre back, always encouraging, and a no-nonsense centre back.

Rowan Hazelwood

Age: 30
Position: Striker/Right Winger

Pacey striker that finished 2nd top scorer last season. Frightening pace that every opposition team is scared to death of.

Ryan Lee-Prior

Age: 17
Position: Centre Mid

Another youth player that has a quality touch and shows the older guys how to play the simple game

Steve Wilson

Age: 30
Position: Right back, Centre Midfield

Veteran of Kings AFC, and club chairman, Steve maintains his commitment to the cause with a determined attitude, superb encouragement and leadership qualities whilst also being a strong passer of the ball.

Position: Centre Mid

Manager of the team, a good passer who has a special talent for slide tacking! Confident of having a good season.
