The founding member of Kings AFC, Wilson decimated former side Blue Chip FC by poaching an entire defence and numerous star players. Thinks of himself as a midfielder but will surely start in central defence, a position made his own last season as captain in his Blue Chip days. Impressive on the ball and rarely flustered into making mistakes. Will be vital to Kings’ maiden season given his influential leadership on and off the field of play. |

Another former Blue Chip player but his time there was crippled by injury and extra curricular activities. Rarely started for his former club but was often impressive when called upon to shore up the defence. Started life as a forward but his size and heading ability lends itself to a central defensive position where he will be aiming to start the season alongside Wilson. His growling demeanour ensures he will scare the life out of opposing forwards and also offers a great frame for Wilson to hide behind when some young punk (which is bound to happen) kicks off. |

Getting on a bit in years but remains one of the most consistent performers in the league. Had an excellent season for Blue Chip last term at right-back and it is hard to see him been knocked off his perch given the vital experience he brings to the back four and whole team. An outstanding tackler who is rarely beaten by more pacey forwards, an indication of his defensive ability. Widely recognised as Mr Steady. |

Probably the best left-back in the league. One of the youngest members of the squad but has a rapidly growing reputation among the football folk of Bedfordshire as a star player. Tremendously quick, strong and excellent on the ball, he was named player of the season at former club Blue Chip last term and must strive to retain the sort of performances that bought with them a growing expectancy amongst his peers. Sometimes quiet but a degree of underlying confidence exudes the young man which is quite understandable given his continual man of the match performances. |
