KINGS AFC IN THE COMMUNITY
Ever wondered what it would be like to sleep beneath the stars?

Dear All
Kings AFC players Mike Milner and Mike Whelan presently work for the Kings Arms Project a Bedford charity which aims to give homeless people a home and help put people back on their feet. In order to do this, the Project gives practical support and life skill training in the context of residential accommodation.
On Friday night - December 1st - I am going to be taking part in a Sponsored Sleep out, to help raise money for the project, and would love for the whole team to do it with me. Let's really get behind our team mates and also the great work that the Project does and have some fun in the outdoors at the same time.
It will be held at Bedford Modern School on Manton Lane, Bedford on December 1st 2006. It will commence at 9pm and conclude 7am on the next morning. I know we have a game that day - but this really is worth the extra effort and lack of sleep.
The aim of the Sleepout is to raise awareness of homelessness and the work of The King's Arms Project, in addition to raising funds. I trust that you find the experience both informative and enjoyable.
I'm afraid guys there will be no alcohol, stereos, smoking, footballs or tents! at all for this night (Toilets and hot drinks will be available though) - it will be a real experience and an awesome thing for us to support. Are you man enough?
COME ON - SIGN UP!
