IMPORTANT NOTICE
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES
Dear All
It has been brought to my attention that some things on a Saturday are not being done properly, and I feel it necessary to highlight them to you so they we don't cause ourselves problems and further expense in the future.
Firstly, please make sure that ALL pegs, as well as the corner flags, and nets are put away properly in the seat locker in our dressing room after every game. This week 10 pegs were left out on the pitch which is simply inexcusable guys.
Secondly, the posts and struts should be placed exactly how they were found, propped up against the wall inside our internal walls and the top of the goals left neatly across the wooden bench, being careful not to damage the plastic hooks.
Thirdly, ALL litter, such as bottles, wrappers and food needs to be removed after we finish playing. It is a public park, and not our dumping ground.
Fourthly, you are under no circumstances allowed to give a member of the opposition team keys to the changing rooms. If they need access, go with them and lock the door afterwards. Valuables are too important.
Fifthly, NOONE is allowed to use the showers until after the final whistle, the hot water will run out if you do.
And finally, substitutes are responsible for watching where the match balls go over fence and retrieving them as soon as possible.
Seriously guys, the above are all things you have heard before and I don’t want to sound like a whinge – but its very important that we look after this pitch and the owners of the equipment as we are very fortunate to have them.
Steve
