Ever thought that there might be more to life then football?

Two years ago I went on something called an Alpha course, keen to find answers to some of life’s most challenging questions, and confused about what I believed. I can honestly say that it was one of the most significant and best decisions I ever made in my life.

Alpha offers people the chance to explore the meaning of life and the Christian faith in a relaxed and non-threatening environment. Eating a free meal and getting to know some great people, hearing a short talk and then the having the opportunity to discuss the topic of the evening, to ask questions and express opinions.

From the 8-week course, talk titles include: ‘Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant?’, ‘Who Is Jesus?’ And ‘Why did Jesus die?’

Why don’t you come along to the Alpha supper, an introductory evening where 400 people will be listening to a jazz band, short talk and also MY story about what happened to me on Alpha, while you eat a great dinner? You’ll be able to find out whether the course is for you and give me some much needed support for when I am up on stage!

The Alpha supper is on Tuesday 26th September at the Corn Exchange in Bedford. Tickets cost £5, but this time dinner is on me!
