Kings are devastated to have been knocked out of the cup against Clifton, having fielded what was arguably the strongest line up of the season, and dominating much of the games possession, particularly in the second period. It was however, two sloppy goals in the first half and two sucker blows on the counter then gave Clifton a way through to the cup final now that Stewartby have folded.
A penalty from Clements, a drifting free kick man of the match Milner and then a last gasp back heel from the foot of the goal machine Clements again kept Kings hopes alive until the end – but alas it wasn’t to be.
