The season got underway at the end of August and the Kings put in some good performances against quality opposition in their first ever games. Winning three of their first four fixtures, the only hiccup being a windy and physical encounter with fellow newcomers Putnoe United. The most pleasing result was the 3-0 victory over big rivals Blue Chip.
